what you can do

Act now. You cannot afford to sit back and wait.

Impeachment means more than getting the House of Representatives to hold Bush to the same standards they've applied in the past. We can impeach the Bush Occupation by accusing them of committing crimes, by challenging and casting doubt on their credibility, as well as by demanding their removal from office for misconduct.

There's a lot of misconduct to choose from. Bush and his administration are misleading us - into war, deficits, and joblessness. They're raiding pensions and undoing progress on the environment and education. They stole the election and they're attacking our Constitutional rights. These assaults against our republic require impeachment and removal from office of Bush, Cheney, and others who aided the Bush Coup.

Bush's lies and misconduct cost American jobs and lives, and risk our future. But the powerful corporations that control the media refuse to report Bush Occupation crimes: Insider Trading, "Funeralgate", 9/11 Cover-up, "Enrongate", "Votergate", and Lying Under the Oath of Office. We can't rely on the mainstream media to hold Bush and his top officials accountable for anything. We must act now. It's up to us to inform our fellow Americans. We must demand justice. Here's what you can do:

Inform Elected Officials and the Media. Demand Full and Open Investigations.

Contact your elected officials - both of your Senators and your congressperson. Tell them you demand investigations into Bush's lies under the Oath of Office, his special favors for Enron and other campaign contributors, his failure to heed warnings before 9/11 and his insider trading.

A complete and full investigation of any of these would support the impeachment of GW Bush and his removal from office. Take these grounds for impeachment, print them out, sign them, and mail them to your elected representatives. Or call them and demand real investigations.

We do suggest calling or sending a personal fax or letter rather than email. Politicians ignore email and form letters generated by databases. Phone calls and actual 1etters with your own signature and address carry much more weight. It will cost you time and maybe a stamp, but it proves you and this movement are real and cannot be ignored.

Please do it now. Especially if you've never done this before. Call now or mail a letter and mention this is the first thing that you felt strongly enough about to act on. Remind your Senators and Representative you are a registered voter in their state or district, and they work for you. At least for now. Stress that your support for them in the future depends on their courage on this issue now.

Write, call, use their web-forms if you must, but demand they move to impeach Bush.
